My girlfriend saw sweet potato poutine on the menu and that was all it took for her to beg to go there. Long story short they are absolutely delicious and worth stopping in for. We had them with brisket and the brisket was tender and juicy. She had the brisket stew and I had a chicken sandwich. Both were perfect after hiking Bertha falls/lake.
Best pizza in Waterton, maybe in all of Alberta. Cooked with a brick wood fired oven that was imported from Italy, and dough ingredients from Italy as well, this bbq joint is quickly making it’s name as some of the best pizza in the Canadian game. Crust is bubbly and perfectly chewy and crisp with a nice crunch paired with rich mozzarella cheese and high quality ingredients. They also have some great BBQ, but when you’re wanting to scratch that pizza itch in Waterton— head to Trappers Mountain Grill.

What a great restaurant. It is family owned and much of the staff are family. Located on the main road in Waterton. The food was a bit pricey but the chef got it right. Great flavor and presentation and the service was quick. Definitely worth the visit.
Best meal in all of Canada! My waitress Jane was very nice and took great care of me. I ordered the BBQ brisket sandwich with the sweet potato fries. Out of this world with flavor. My compliments to the chef and the entire staff.
We had dinner and breakfast here. Food was delicious, good friendly service, clean bathrooms. Nice gift shop as well inside.

Note - some food pictures I started eating before taking pictures. I ate here 3x over my time in Waterton. First had dinner with smoked ribs, smoked wings and all fries with saskatoon pie for dessert. Substituted all fries instead of what was listed on menu such as coleslaw. This was an excellent meal with the ribs & wings the star of the show. Fries crispy. Second had breakfast pancakes with eggs, sausage. Great and tasty breakfast. Third had dinner again with smoked meatloaf. Might be the best meatloaf I have ever eaten. This meatloaf will make me miss Waterton as it that good. Restaurant was clean, service was quick & friendly and meals excellent. Prices comparable to location. Definitely a place worth checking out.
